It is with great excitement and anticipation that I accept the challenge of East District Youth Coordinator! I look forward to getting to know each one of you better as we work together sharing the love of God with our youth!

 As a whole, 2020 grinded every youth activity to a halt as youth rallies, youth groups, and even convention were cancelled or went viral, and so, the year 2021 has become the year reset!  Many of you will be relaunching and revamping your youth programs to be adapt too, and addresses the obstacles of Covid and a world that will hopefully soon be post-pandemic.  We have alot of work ahead of sand a lot of hope for a brighter future!  The youth of Eastern Kentucky will need lots of love and support as they reconnect with the church and try to make sense of the past year. As your East District Youth Coordinator I want to strive to be available to help you as you move forward.

I was raised in church of God and attended many youth conventions and rallies as a youth pastor.  My father was my first youth leader and I grew up knowing the challenges and joys of being a part of a youth group.  My vision for the youth of Eastern Kentucky is one of growing and training our youth for ministry and service within the Church of God.  As such, I would like to see our youth taking a more active role in Youth Rallies as singers, taking part in the skits, planning, helping with technology, and leading in prayer.  We would like to see young women and men recognize the call of God upon their lives for service.  I hope that you will join me in this vision.
